October 20th, 2009 | by Garrett Wilson |- The Story: Lamar Odom and his wife Khloe Kardashian finally agreed on a pre-nup. The Fire Says: I’m sure they will happily ever after now.
- The Story: Ron Artest is seeing a sports psychologist to help keep his behavior under control. The Fire Says: The first step is admitting you have a problem, although I don’t know just how much help the shrink can be from Houston.
- The Story: Derek Fisher likes what he sees from Andrew Bynum. The Fire Says: We all like what we see from Bynum. What we don’t like is that he can’t stay healthy. All the talent in the world is of no use when you are on the injured list.
- The Story: Jordan Farmar and Shannon Brown have established a good rapport when sharing the backcourt. The Fire Says: That’s nice and all, but the Lakers are better off with their more talented players on the court instead of two reserve guards.
- The Story: Lamar Odom is likely to play in tonight’s game, but Pau Gasol and Luke Walton are not. The Fire Says: All three practiced in at least limited fashion, which puts them all on pace to be ready for the season opener.
- The Story: Kevin Ding seems to think Andrew Bynum has a good chance at becoming an All-Star this year. The Fire Says: Ding is right in that there is a dearth of talented centers in the Western Conference, but this is still putting the cart before the horse. Let’s just see if Bynum can stay healthy first.
