Laker Linkage – 11/5/09
November 5th, 2009 | by Garrett Wilson |- The Story: Pau Gasol’s hamstring tests came back strong and he could return to action as soon as Friday. The Fire Says: And a collective sigh of relief goes out across Laker Nation. Personally, I’m more relieved that the Lakers will finally go back to having at least one decent player off the bench.
- The Story: Sasha Vujacic has purchased a fancy new condo. The Fire Says: He gets a sweet ass home and Maria Sharapova in the same week? Imagine what a charmed life he’d be living if he was more than just a bench scrub for the Lakers.
- The Story: Andrew Bynum sprained his elbow late in last night’s game and is undergoing tests to determine the severity of the injury. The Fire Says: He should have a more definite diagnosis later today, but it sounds like he is at least questionable for tomorrow’s game. At least it isn’t his knee.
- The Story: Ron Artest opted to be a calming force rather than get ejected from last night’s game. The Fire Says: Ron-Ron was consoling Bynum after his little tantrum last night, but also admitted his former Rocket teammates were trying to goad him into blowing his lid and he nearly did, but thought better of it.
