Game Countdown: Pistons @ Lakers
November 17th, 2009 | by Garrett Wilson |Detroit Pistons (5-5) @ Los Angeles Lakers (7-3)
Game Info: 7:30 PM PT TV-Fox Sports West Radio-710 AM, 1330 AM
THREE Questions:
- Will Kobe be at 100% tonight or will his injured groin slow him down like it did against Houston?
- Can Ron Artest throw anyone else’s shoe or any other piece of equipment into the crowd tonight?
- So this is the part where Phil Jackson is supposed to do some coaching right? It sure would be nice to see him actually blink on the bench tonight if the Lakers fall behind again. I don’t think that is too much to ask considering his salary.
TWO Predictions:
- For the first time all year the Lakers make a distinct point of getting the ball to Andrew Bynum leading to his first 30+ point game of the season.
- I will probably end up having post-traumatic stress flashbacks the first time the Pistons put Kwame Brown into the game. I should probably just watch this game by myself in a padded room for my own well being.
ONE Wish:
- I wish I could predict that the Lakers will come out on fire after receiving such a loud wake up call the last two games, but that isn’t this team’s style. They’ll put forth a solid but unspectacular effort, but I highly doubt that they run away with this game.
ZERO Tolerance for… standing around on offense. For the love of God, would someone please move without the ball?!?! Fix that little problem right there and things will turn around in a hurry for LA.
