Laker Linkage – 11/19/09
November 19th, 2009 | by Garrett Wilson |- The Story: Pau Gasol confirmed that he intends to make his season debut tonight. The Fire Says: It’s about damn time. That hammy sure took a long time to heal up and it kind of make me wonder if he was just milking it so his name would be in the headlines around the time his CSI: Miami episode aired. Either that or he has just player a billion games the last two years and his body finally gave out.
- The Story: Luke Walton talks in depth about his back injury. The Fire Says: The injury is the same one that sidelined him during the pre-season and he admits he probably rushed back from the injury then, so expect him to be much more conservative with the injury this time around.
- The Story: Shannon Brown and Jordan Farmar are starting to come around. The Fire Says: Really? You could have fooled me, especially with Farmar. Let me know when both actually perform consistently well. I’m not exactly going to hold my breath.
- The Story: Kobe Bryant reflects on his 100 games of scoring 40+ points. The Fire Says: Amazingly, the article tells us that Kobe has dropped 40+ on every single team in the association. At least the Mamba is an equal opportunity ass kicker.
