- The Story: A nearby armed robbery prevented Kobe Bryant from getting the team shootaround Wednesday. The Fire Says: The robbery was in Kobe’s gated community but not at his house, so no worries.
- The Story: The Lakers will meet President Obama on January 25th. The Fire Says: Does anyone else want to see Obama and Kobe play one-on-one?
- The Story: Forbes magazine ranks the Lakers as the most profitable and valuable NBA franchise. The Fire Says: Sounds accurate to me, but this is the same magazine that ranked Kevin McHale as the best GM in the league a few years ago.
- The Story: Lamar Odom is too tired to do much on his wife’s reality show. The Fire Says: And mercifully so, the less LO messes around on TV, the more focused he can be on his game.
