THREE Questions:
- Now that Kurt Rambis is spending his winters in Minnesota instead of LA AND has to be responsible for a three-win team instead of the #2 coach on a potential dynasty… I wonder how he is feeling about that little decision?
- With Luke Walton doing the radio announcing for this game, how will he stack up to his famous father and his infamous announcing abilities? I am thinking Luke will probably not be quite so adept at educating us on the game but much better about not making outlandishly embarrassing statements.
- I wonder if Laker season ticketholders are getting tired of tacos yet? Perhaps they can change it up and turn it into free milk shakes or cheeseburgers just for one night.
TWO Predictions:
- Since Phil Jackson is expecting a comfortable win, Sasha Vujacic plays a season-high in minutes and responds with a season-high in points.
- I am going to keep predicting it until he does it because I am starting to take it personally now. Lamar Odom will finally score in double-digits.
ONE Match-up to Watch:
- The Battle of the Boards. Utah made the last game very interesting by crashing the offensive glass against the Lakers and now that Minny has Kevin Love back in the fold, they could easily do the same. If Andrew Bynum decides he doesn’t feel like rebounding again tonight, this could end up being a surprisingly competitive game.
ZERO Tolerance for… a letdown. After that incredible fourth quarter and riding a ten-game winning streak, this has trap game written all over it as the Laker players have probably already chalked this one up as an easy win. If anyone knows how to exploit the Lakers’ holes, it is Kurt Rambis, so Kobe and company best come prepared to play tonight.
